LoolyTv Terms of Use

Last updated: September 6, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the LoolyTv Android application, the LoolyTv.com website, and related services (“LoolyTv” or “the App”). By using the App or website, you agree to these Terms.

1. About LoolyTv

LoolyTv is a curated catalog of video playlists intended for children and families. Playback is provided through YouTube’s embedded player. We do not host video files ourselves.

2. Age and parental responsibility

The App is designed for children. A parent or guardian must create the account (Google Sign-In), complete setup, supervise use, and decide which curated playlists are added to the library. Additional devices may be linked with a pairing code. Devices linked as child cannot add or remove playlists and do not show the parental exit gate. Parents are responsible for suggestions and reports submitted from parent devices.

3. Accounts and sync

  • A parent Google Sign-In creates the account. After that, a parent may optionally set a password and sign in later with email and password.
  • Additional devices can be linked with a short-lived pairing code (no Google Sign-In required on the linked device).
  • Linked sessions may be parent or child. Child sessions are pull-only for the cloud library.
  • We sync across signed-in devices: the ordered list of library playlist IDs and app options (for example theme, language, captions, playback mix).
  • Playlist video lists, thumbnails, and watch progress remain on each device in this version.
  • You may sign out of one device or all devices from Multi-devices / Options. Deleting your account removes cloud profile and library membership data as described in the Privacy Policy and Data deletion page.
  • Authorized staff may access account identifiers (parent email and display name, child name or nickname, and whether a linked device is currently signed in) through internal admin tools to provide support, keep the service secure, and diagnose issues. This information is not shown to other families or to children in the App. See the Privacy Policy for details.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit illegal, harmful, harassing, or sexually explicit content
  • Suggest or promote content that is not appropriate for children
  • Attempt to bypass parental controls, rate limits, or security measures
  • Use the App to scrape, reverse engineer, or overload our services
  • Misrepresent content as Made for Kids when it is not
  • Share your parent account credentials in a way that undermines parental controls

Catalog search may show autocomplete suggestions based on aggregated popular queries and public channel titles. Suggestions are not personalized to a child profile.

5. User-generated content (suggestions and reports)

Suggestions

Parents may suggest YouTube channels, playlists, or videos for catalog review. Before submitting a suggestion you must accept these Terms. Suggestions are not published automatically; our team reviews them. We may reject or ignore suggestions without notice.

Reports

Users may report playlists that appear unsafe, not suitable for kids, broken, or otherwise problematic. Reports may require a simple math check (parental gate) and are rate-limited.

Prohibited UGC

You may not submit suggestions or reports that contain:

  • Sexual or pornographic material
  • Extreme violence, hate, or harassment
  • Personal data of children beyond what the App asks for in onboarding (do not submit addresses, photos of the child’s face with identifying details, etc.)
  • Spam, advertising, or phishing

We may remove UGC, block repeat abusers, and cooperate with authorities when required.

6. Moderation

We moderate catalog content, suggestions, and reports on an ongoing basis. Reporting tools are available in the App. Catalog entries may be blocked or removed if they no longer meet our kids-safety standards, including Made for Kids requirements.

7. YouTube content

Videos remain subject to YouTube’s terms and the rights of their uploaders. Availability can change without notice. LoolyTv is not affiliated with YouTube except as a client of YouTube’s publicly available APIs and embedded player.

The App and website may use Google Analytics to measure aggregate usage, as described in the Privacy Policy. Google’s terms and privacy policy apply to that service.

8. Payments

The App does not sell subscriptions or in-app purchases at this time. A free parent Google account is required to create an account. After that, a parent may also sign in with email and password if they set one.

9. Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that every video will always remain appropriate. Parents remain responsible for supervising viewing.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LoolyTv and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App or third-party video content.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
